Recent transactions
European club football
Winterflood has hedged €7m of bonuses payable by shirt manufacturers and corporate sponsors to various major football clubs for success in domestic and European tournaments through to 2011.
International rugby
Winterflood hedged bonuses totalling $22m payable by six national rugby unions and a sponsor based upon performance in the 2007 World Cup and the 2008 6 Nations.
Golf Majors and tour events
Winterflood has hedged bonuses totalling $10m payable to various golfers by club manufacturers, player sponsors and tournament promoters.
Money back promotions
Winterflood hedged €20m of risk for organisations offering customers their money back depending on the results of Euro 2008 and golf Majors.
Prompt & efficient settlement
Winterflood has paid over $5m to six clients since July 2007, in each case making full settlement within two weeks of the respective payments being triggered.
